Notice to Patients
Please be advised that effective June 26th, 2026, Pediatric Ophthalmology of Erie, Inc. will cease to exist.
Dr. Nicholas Sala will be retiring, and Dr. Wesley Cox will be taking over Dr. Sala's patients under a new business name, Kids Eyes Erie. Dr. Cox will remain practicing at the same location with the same phone number currently being utilized.
Please be advised that we will still be treating adult patients with double vision and/or an eye misalignment. We will still be able to diagnose these conditions and, when needed, refer patients to trusted specialists.
Patients wishing to choose another pediatric ophthalmologist instead of a pediatric optometrist are asked to visit our website at KidsEyesErie.com. Under Patient Forms, please fill out an Authorization to Release Health Information and we will be happy to forward your records to your new provider.
Patients wishing to continue care with Dr. Cox will not have to do anything, as their records will remain with him.
